Stockport Buskulele 2014
Saturday 23rd August found us in Merseyway Shopping Precinct
After a slight hiccup when it was found that we were double-booked (thank goodness for smartphones, Sue was able to show the email confirmation) we got started.
A further setback was when we were asked to turn off the amplification as we were disturbing the nearby shops! Luckily Malcolm had a spare ukulele for Geoff our bass-player to borrow and we moved closer together so that we could hear each other and we carried on.
"Huge thank you to everybody who came and played in Merseyway today. The weather and the public were kind to us, and we raised a whopping £218.68! Together with the funds we have already raised, that means we have £403.26 for Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society" Mark
