White Stuff

White Stuff is a clothing shop in one of the posher areas of Manchester city centre, managed by my future daughter in law. They regularly hold charity events in-store, in aid of their nominated charity – Wood Street Mission, who help alleviate the effects of poverty on Manchester and Salford children and their families through practical help.

As part of their Father’s Day Event, they asked us to come down and play in the shop on Saturday 20th June.

So, three of us made our way to Manchester on Saturday morning, stopping only for burgers and milkshakes to fortify us.

Despite the weather (it was that fine rain that soaks you through), we arrived unscathed. We played to the enthusiastic (and sometimes bemused) clientèle for a couple of hours, and they very generously donated wodges of their loose change.
A good time was had by all!
